Now this book was new to me and stepping outside of what I normally go for. I don't typically go for a fantasy book and one that's from a Male's perspective. So, I gave this a try but it fell pretty flat for me. My heart was not in to reading the book in the first place and so I can't say I got in to the story, but I had wanted to give the book a fair chance. Trevin ventures on a quest to find the harps to restore heaven's stairway. This was too weird for me the idea of harps and a stairway in to heaven...I believe I won't do this venturing out of my comfort zone again with my book selection. Not much I can truly say about this book. I couldn't finish it and barely made it to chapter five before quiting. Over all not a book I would try to read again.

Enemies
Beware
Ron Carpenter’s latest
book titled the Necessity of an Enemy
is a wonderful revelation.
I normally skip
introductions and jump to the first chapter. However, I don’t recommend doing
that here. It totally spoke to my heart within the first seven pages and it absolutely
wouldn’t have been the same for me if I would have skipped to Part One. Please
read all of what Carpenter has to say before Part One. It addressed the issue
and questions that we as humans can’t help but ask at some point in our lives:
Why is this happening to me? Why do bad things happen to good people? I ask
that you read this book to truly discover not only the answer to these
questions, but to clarify why facing difficulties in life is a must. Also, to
help you understand that facing an enemy is a good sign of the direction of
your life. Please trust me when I honestly say this book is a wonderful tool
that God has worked through Carpenter to bless your life. It has blessed mine
and I pass it on to you.
